Every color in your food is linked to a specific health benefit? Green vegetables, especially leafy greens, are good sources of vitamin C, folate, calcium, iron, and other nutrients. If you’re wondering what good those do for your health, ask Popeye! Avocadoes are a great source of vitamin E.

Blueberries are a good source of vitamins and minerals, especially vitamin K1, vitamin C, and manganese. The benefits of these tiny fruits are that they can help regulate blood sugar, improve heart and brain health.

Purple foods can help you too! (Remember when an eggplant actually meant a vegetable?) Purple foods like eggplant, grapes, plums, and açaí berries are rich in antioxidants that assist your bodies repair cellular damage. They also have anti-inflammatory compounds.
